    To combine land administration and registration services, the Government of Telangana has launched 'Dharani’ (Land Records Management System). The online portal serves as a single window for the authenticity of all land parcels and performs all land related work in an efficient, effective, and integrated method.

    Registration of non-agricultural lands to be started on the ‘Dharani’ portal on 23 November 2020

    The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has recently announced that the state of Telangana will start accepting registration of non-agricultural properties and lands through the ‘Dharani’ land record management portal on 23 November 2020.

    Earlier, the portal which was launched on 29 October 2020 was used to register agricultural lands only. However, now the ‘Dharani’ portal has records in regard to 1.46 crore acres of land within the limits of the state. The details for the same can be accessed through the portal at any point in time.

    • Dharani updates textual data on a real-time basis using GIS tools.

    To check your land records online, follow the below process:

    • Visit Telangana offcial website and select the option ‘Registered Document Details’.
    • You’ll be required to enter details like district, Sub-Registrar Office (SRO), book type, registration year, and document number.
    • Submit or you can reset the information accordingly.
