How to Transfer Money using The Surat People's Cooperative Bank NEFT and RTGS?

Sending money from one bank to another is a hassle free process today as one can easily use the NEFT and RTGS money transfer facilities provided by the Surat People's Cooperative Bank to do so.

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT):

The Surat People's Cooperative Bank NEFT service can be availed on the working days of the bank. This facility allows people to transfer money safely between banks and all the transfers are done in batches. To avail this service, a person has to pay certain fees to the bank, the details of which are mentioned as follows -

1. If the transfer amount is up to Rs.10, 000, the fee charged is Rs.3
2. If the transfer amount is between Rs.10, 000 and Rs.1, 00, 000, the fee charged is Rs.6
3. If the transfer amount is between Rs.1, 00, 000 and Rs.2, 00, 00, the fee charged is Rs.17
4. If the transfer amount is more than Rs.2, 00, 000, the fee charged is Rs.28

Apart from the fees, he or she has to provide certain details about the receiver such as –

1. The receiver's name
2. The receiver's bank and branch name
3. IFSC Code of the receiver's bank
4. The transfer amount
5. The receiver's account number
6. A remark for the receiver, if any

Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS):

The Surat People's Cooperative Bank's RTGS service can be used for transferring money from 9 am to 4.30 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 1.30 pm on Saturdays. People can use this facility if they want to transfer a large sum of money as the minimum amount that can be transferred using the RTGS service is Rs.2, 00, 000. The requests for this service are taken on an individual basis, which is why the transfers happen really fast.

In order to avail this service, a person has to pay the following fees to the bank –

1. If the transfer amount is between Rs.2, 00, 000 and Rs.5, 00, 000, the fee charged is Rs.28
2. If the transfer amount is more than Rs.5, 00, 000, the fee charged is Rs.56

Apart from the fees, he or she also has to provide the following details about the receiver -

1. The receiver's name
2. The receiver's bank and branch name
3. IFSC Code of the receiver's bank
4. The transfer amount
5. The receiver's account number
6. A remark for the receiver, if any
