Lakshmi Vilas Bank allows you to transfer money without putting you through the trouble of standing in long queues or filling long forms. Through NEFT and RTGS modes of electronic money transfer, you can now transfer funds to locations across country in just a few hours. Both the modes require you to know the IFSC code of the bank's branch before you initiate the money transfer. At LVB, you can transfer currency to one account to another LVB account as well as other banks, participating in the NEFT network.

National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) at LVB:

LVB proudly offers the NEFT facility to its customers through a safe, secure and a trustworthy system. The online fund transfer system is maintained by RBI and can be used for low to medium amount transfer between accounts. There is no limit on the amount transferred through NEFT. The electronic payment system in this mode works on Deferred Net Settlement (DNS) basis and the banks receive payment instructions at fixed times, daily. LVB offers NEFT facility at all its branches. Using this mode, money can be transferred on the same day or next day to the beneficiary's account.

NEFT transaction requests are accepted only until 15 minutes prior to the cut-off timings of LVB's branches.

Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) at LVB:

Online payments made through RTGS are made under RBI's guidance and hence, they are final and irreversible. The fund transfers are ‘real-time', as in the processing takes place at the same time as the instructions reach the bank. The process is instantaneous and continuous as it happens throughout the day. The settlement of funds is referred to as ‘gross settlement' as the transfer instructions take place independently, without carrying any links to other transactions. LVB enables all its customers to use RTGS for easy and fast fund transfer. RTGS mode is preferred for high-amount transactions of Rs.2 lakh and above. Fund transfer to beneficiary account can take place in a short span of 2 hours. LVB offers RTGS facility in all its branches.
