NEFT transactions at ING Vysya bank are cleared by RBI every hour in batches, following the Deferred Net Settlement (DNS) system. The transfer of money using this mode takes place in the real-time and is carried out continuously throughout RTGS business hours of the bank. RTGS system of fund transfer does not follow any batch-wise process and is cleared independently, making it the fastest mode of online money transfer. As this happens in the books of RBI, the transfers cannot be taken back and is considered final. The minimum amount that is allowed to be transferred via RTGS is Rs.2 lakh, however there is no upper limit and you can transfer an amount as high as possible. The bank branch of the beneficiary credits the money into the recipient’s account within two hours post receiving instruction for the same.
At ING Vysya, RTGS business hours are from 9AM to 4:15PM on weekdays and from 9AM to 1:45PM on Saturdays. The standard charges for RTGS transactions are Rs.25 per transaction for transfers that are worth up to Rs.5 lakh and Rs.50 per transaction for transfers that are worth above Rs.5 lakh.
