Apna Sahakari Bank (Apna Bank) IFSC Code:

If you’re looking at transferring money online, look no further than the NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) and RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) facilities offered by Apna Sahakari Bank. Using these two facilities, you can transfer money to any bank account in the country within a matter of hours through a secure medium. You can also give the cumbersome paper trail a miss when you use these services, as you just need to fill in the beneficiary’s bank details and the branch IFSC Code. The money would be transferred to the beneficiary’s account once it is processed by the bank, for a hassle-free means to transfer money online.

The two services were started by Reserve Bank of India to facilitate a fast and seamless money transfer process. Bank branches that are a part of the NEFT network are assigned an IFSC code, which helps RBI to regulate the online transfers taking place within the country and also serves to identify the origin and destination banks in a particular transaction.

The IFSC or Indian Financial System Code is 11 characters long and is made up of both numerals as well as alphabets. The first four characters are the name of the bank. The fifth is the number “0”, which is left blank for future use, and the remaining six numbers denote the bank branch. For example, the IFSC code for the Apna Sahakari Bank branch in Ghatkopar, located in Mumbai district, Maharashtra is ASBL0000019, where “ASBL” stands for Apna Sahakari Bank, “0” is the blank fifth character and “000019” is the code for the Ghatkopar branch.

For requests received after the close of NEFT service hours, or requests received on bank holidays, the transactions would be processed on the following business day.
