  • Low-income and financially weak families will be given priority for assistance first. 
  • If the head of a family passes away, the next eligible female family member may apply to qualify to receive benefits as the head of that family. 

Who is excluded from the Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme?

  • Women who are heads of households and families with male heads of household do not qualify under this program. 
  • Families led by a woman who pays income taxes are not eligible for assistance under this program. 
  • A family headed by a woman who holds a Goods or Services Tax (GST) registration is also not eligible since this program is available only to people who do not pay taxes and/or are financially weak.

  • Bank account passbook linked with Aadhaar or RTGS details

Online Method 

To set up a Seva Sindhu guarantee scheme using the Seva Sindhu Guarantee scheme portal, you will need to follow these steps: 

  • Step 1: Visit the official Seva Sindhu Guarantee Scheme Portal and open the portal. 
  • Step 2: Register for the portal by using your Aadhaar number and mobile number to create your login credentials. 
  • Step 3: Log in to the portal with the login credentials you created, and open the relevant scheme application form from the dashboard. 
  • Step 4: Fill in all required fields in the application form completely, upload the required documents in the required format and size, and review the information that you have entered and the files that you have uploaded and correct any mistakes prior to continuing. 
  •  Step 5: Accept the terms and conditions, declaration, and privacy policy if it applies, and then click on Submit / Apply. Once your application has been submitted, a confirmation message will be generated, and you will receive an application reference number so that you can track your application later. 

Offline Method

Follow the instructions given below:  

  • Step 1: To apply, go to your local Grama/BBMP Ward office/BBMP internet site as listed above (only authorized organizations have access to this information) and complete an application form. Some of these agencies may also visit homes through local representatives.  
  • Step 2: Obtain the required forms from one of your local offices or ask an authorized representative to give you one.  
  • Step 3: Complete the form completely and provide copies of all required documents with self-signed copies where necessary.  
  • Step 4: Submit your application to the person designated to accept it with your documentation as listed above (as referenced). Completing the application process is completely free of charge, and there are no set deadlines to apply.
