Hyundai to Launch Tucson SUV by August - September 2016
Hyundai is all set to launch two new cars - the Tucson and the all new Elantra in India this year. To test the waters, Hyundai has planned to slot the new Tucson SUV between Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Sante Fe. The new Tucson SUV will compete against Tata Hexa, Mahindra XUV500 and similar cars in the SUV segment. It is important to note that the first generation Hyundai Tucson was launched in 2005 and was suspended in 2010 due to low market demand.
The all new Hyundai Tucson has a wheelbase of 2, 670 cms and comes with a boot capacity of 513 litres. This car is likely to be priced between Rs. 15 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs.

Hyundai Special Edition Xcent and Grand i10 Cars to be Launched Soon
The leading South Korean auto maker, the Hyundai Motor Company, plans to launch special edition versions of the Hyundai Grand i10 and the Hyundai Xcent. This is to commemorate the completion of 20 successful years for the company. The new models will have special features such as new accessories, chrome design, improved entertainment accessories, etc. The Xcent is to come out this month and the Grand i10 will be launched in May. The company also plans to roll out a new and improved Elantra in order to overthrow its competitor – the Toyota Corolla – in the executive car segment. All these new Hyundai cars will be covered under car insurance policies offered by various insurance providers.

Kia, Hyundai’s Subsidiary, to Enter India
Kia Motors, Hyundai’s subsidiary will make its entry into India very soon. Hyundai, the South Korean automaker, has been a leading automaker in the country competing with companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Renault. Kia sells cars ranging from hatchbacks to compact SUVs. Preliminary work and research has already begun to find appropriate land to set up its factory and to find suppliers. The factory might also be used to manufacture Hyundai models as the factory in Chennai is reaching its maximum output level Kia has been eying the Indian market for a while and has already completed studies and reports. It might take about two to four years before Kia cars hit the market for sale. There will be regulations to abide by and permissions to be granted before Kia can get on the Indian roads. Indian car insurance companies will have to roll out plans for the new cars such as Sportage, Soul and Rio.
