Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS):

Cosmos Bank provides the service of RTGS, which is the fastest method to transfer funds from any of the Cosmos Bank branches to any other bank branch which is RTGS enabled. The processing of RTGS begins as soon as the request reaches the bank. RTGS is ideal for customers looking to transfer more than a minimum of Rs. 2 lacs. There is no upper limit to the amount that you can transfer.

Customers can avail the RTGS facility from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm. On Saturdays the service is available between 9.00 am and 02.00 pm.

You will need the following information to use RTGS service at Cosmos Bank (Cosmos Co-operative Bank Ltd.):

Cosmos Bank (Cosmos Co-operative Bank Ltd.) was established in 1906 by Krishnaji Sadashiv Gore and Shankar Hari Barve. It is one of the oldest Urban Co-operative Banks in India and one of the first co-operative banks in the country to implement Core Banking System (CBS) across its entire network, using Finacle-Infosys Core Banking Software.

  • Cosmos Co-operative Bank Wins the NSDL Star Performer Award, 2015

    Cosmos Bank, a leading urban co-operative bank in India, has declared the NSDL Star Performer, 2015, by the National Securities Depository Ltd. The Bank has won this award for two successive years, on the performance of the Depository Service department for opening the highest number of Demat Accounts. Managing Director and CEO of NSDL, Mr. G. V. Nageswara Rao handed over the award to Mr. Anil Barve, the General Manager of Cosmos Bank, in Mumbai. Customers can transfer funds to their Demat account in Cosmos Bank from a savings account in another bank through NEFT or RTGS, by providing the IFSC code and other relevant details. The Demat department of the Bank is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

  • Cosmos Bank Introduces New Loan Scheme for Professionals: IFSC Code Needed for Transaction

    Cosmos Bank has come up with a loan scheme for professionals called the “Cosmos Professionals Loan” and “Special Loan Scheme for Medical-Pharmaceutical-Surgical Wholesale and Retail Distributors”. Under the first loan scheme, professionals like CA, ICWA and CS, engineers, architects and doctors can avail a loan of up to Rs.5 lakhs at a very competitive interest rate of 12.5% per annum. The loan term is set at a 36 or 60 month duration. The other loan scheme offers a quantum of up to Rs.10 crore with an exciting interest rate of 11.5% per annum. There is no guarantor required and the processing fee is also waived off for these loan schemes. Cosmos bank has a strong footprint in India with 140 branches in 7 states.
