Swayam Prabha is a project of the Ministry of Human Resources Development that provides 40 Direct to Home (DTH) channels for educational purposes. The channels are accessible 24/7 across India. Every day, fresh content is broadcasted through the GSAT-15 satellite for a minimum of four hours and repeated five times throughout the day for the convenience of students.
On Swayam Prabha, a range of instructional materials are offered. Swayam Prabha's main goal is to deliver high-quality material even in locations without internet access. It isn’t linked to any education loan scheme.
