SSP Pre Matric Scholarship

You can follow these steps to register for SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship:

• Go to the SSP pre-matric scholarship's official website 

• The Pre-Matric Scholarship is listed on the homepage 

• Next, select Create an Account 

• Complete the necessary information, such as the captcha code, password, and 11-digit SSP ID 

• Fill out the application 

• Students must click on the e-kyc tab to finish the e-kyc process 

• Enter information such as the student's Aadhaar number and the OTP that was sent to the Aadhaar-linked cellphone number 

• To submit the SSP pre-matric scholarship application, click the submit button. 

How to Log in to the SSP Scholarship Portal?

Follow the steps mentioned below to log into the SSP pre-matric scholarship:

Step 1: Click on the link https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in/.

Step 2: Click on 'Student Login', following which you will have to enter your User ID and Password, and the CPTCHA code and then click on 'Login'. 

Step 3: Click on e-KYC to verify your Aadhaar number. 

Step 4:  Once you have logged in, you can apply for the pre-matric scholarship by choosing the option 'Apply for SSP pre-matric scholarship'.

Step 5: Enter your SATS (Student Achievement Tracking System) ID and click on “Get Data”. The system will fetch your details such as your name, school, and date of birth. You will then need to enter information such as your caste, parent’s name and occupation, religion, Income certificate RD number, and caste certificate RD number.  

Step 6: Click on “Check”. 

Step 7: Enter your personal and hostel details such as taluk, PIN code, disability status, and whether you live in a government funded hostel. 

Step 8: Click “Next” to view a preview of your application.

Step 9: Review and click on “Final submit”. 

Step 10: You will see an acknowledgment message on your screen once all the information has been successfully entered. 

Eligibility Criteria for SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship

The following are the eligibility criteria for SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship:

• The SSP Karnataka grant is available to students in grades 1 through 10 

• They must have a Karnataka residence 

• Students from other backward classes (OBC), scheduled castes (SC), and scheduled tribes (ST) are eligible to apply 

• The students' family income must not exceed Rs. 1 lakh annually 

• Students must have passed the most recent qualifying exam with at least 50% of the possible points 

• The scholarship is available to parents who don't have a regular job and can't afford to send their children to school. 

Documents Required for SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship

Given below is the list of documents to be submitted in order to apply for SSP pre-matric scholarship:

• A photograph 

• Parents' and students' Aadhar cards 

• 11-digit SATS student ID 

• Certificate of Caste/EWS 

• Certificate of income 

• Passbook for a bank account 

• Mobile number connected to Aadhaar.
