SSP Pre Matric Scholarship

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSP.

Step 2: Click on the 'Create an account' tab.

Step 3: Students who study in standards from I to X will have to select the 'pre matric' option.

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number and select “Click to Proceed”. 

Step 5: Enter your name as it is given in your Aadhaar and re-enter your Aadhaar number.  

Step 6: Check the consent box and click “Submit”. 

Step 7: Confirm your contact information and select your gender and provide your email ID, and mobile number. Click on” Submit”. 

Step 8: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number. 

Step 9: Create a strong password. Make sure your password consists of a minimum of eight characters and has a number. Also, there should not be any blank spaces in your password. Confirm the new password and then click on “Submit”. 

Step 10: Once the account is successfully created, you will receive your SSP ID (User ID) as an SMS. 

How to Log in to the SSP Scholarship Portal?

Follow the steps mentioned below to log into the SSP pre-matric scholarship:

Step 1: Click on the link https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in/.

Step 2: Click on 'Student Login', following which you will have to enter your User ID and Password, and the CPTCHA code and then click on 'Login'. 

Step 3: Click on e-KYC to verify your Aadhaar number. 

Step 4:  Once you have logged in, you can apply for the pre-matric scholarship by choosing the option 'Apply for SSP pre-matric scholarship'.

Step 5: Enter your SATS (Student Achievement Tracking System) ID and click on “Get Data”. The system will fetch your details such as your name, school, and date of birth. You will then need to enter information such as your caste, parent’s name and occupation, religion, Income certificate RD number, and caste certificate RD number.  

Step 6: Click on “Check”. 

Step 7: Enter your personal and hostel details such as taluk, PIN code, disability status, and whether you live in a government funded hostel. 

Step 8: Click “Next” to view a preview of your application.

Step 9: Review and click on “Final submit”. 

Step 10: You will see an acknowledgment message on your screen once all the information has been successfully entered. 

Eligibility Criteria for SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship

The following are the eligibility criteria for SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship:

1. Candidates must belong from SC, ST, OBC, or from other backward community
2. Candidates pursuing studies from Class 1 to 10
3. For SC/ST students, the family income should not exceed Rs.2.5. lakhs.
4.  For the OBC, the family income limit is Rs.1 lakh, and Rs.2 lakh for other minorities.
5. Family should not exceed Rs.1 lakh
6. Marks secured in the last qualifying examination should be 50%
7. Parents of candidates should not have regular jobs
8. Should be a domicile in Karnataka

2. National Scholarship Portal ID (NSP ID)
3. Mobile number
4. Your or your parents Aadhaar details
5. Certificate of income

8. Bonafide or study certificate
   
9. Disability card number if applicable
