Thai baht (THB) is the official currency of Thailand which is categorized into 100 satang. The currency is issued by the Bank of Thailand. Thai baht was the best performing currency of the world in the year 2018. Its currency is available in denominations of 1,000, 500, 100, 50, and 20 baht. Among these, 100 baht is the most preferred one.
Apart from this, coins are available in the denominations of 50, 25, 10, 5, 2, and 1 satangs. 10 satang coins is the most commonly used coin. The currency is mainly known as Thai baht or baht and its symbol is an uppercase B having a perpendicular line in its centre.
