A permanent Account Number (PAN) card is an identification document provided by the Indian Income Tax Department under the supervision of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). It is a unique ten Alpha Numeric character. To get a PAN card, an individual can apply through CSC.

Registering as a VLE in the CSC ecosystem is a basic and simple process. Registration is completely free. Simply fill in your information and join the CSC network.
CSC will be given to a person known as a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE). CSC is run by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE). It is necessary for them to register on the official portal for this.

The fee for getting a PAN is Rs.93 (excluding GST) for an Indian communication address and Rs.864 (excluding GST) for a foreign communication address. The application fee can be paid through a credit/debit card, a demand draft, or through net banking.
