    • The company’s return on equity inclined by 15.03% for the said fiscal as compared to 12.31% for previous fiscal, improving for 272bps.
    • The firm posted an increase of 28% in loans in the said fiscal while disbursement rose by 68% by focusing on rural, housing and wholesale business.
    • Additionally, the gross non-performing loans stood at 4.80% while its net Non-Performing Assets (NPA) stood at 2.34% as compared to 7.11% and 5.02% during the same period last fiscal.
    • It also reported a rise in its provision coverage ratio to stand at 52.51% for the said quarter as against 31% reported last fiscal.

    • Revenue from operations inclined by 11.1% year-on-year to stand at Rs.40,678.1 crore compared to Rs.36,618.74 crore posted a year ago during the same period.
    • Its EBITDA grew by 23% year-on-year to stand at Rs.5,390.47 crore as compared to Rs.4,382.41 crore during the same period last financial year, while the EBITDA margin has inclined by 128bps year-on-year to 13.3% as compared to 12% during the same quarter last year.
    • The net profit of the company increased by 4.7% year-on-year to stand at Rs.3,167.47 crore as against Rs.3,024.61 crore last fiscal.
    • The company’s international revenue during the said financial year stood at Rs.39,699 crore which constituted 33% of the total revenue.
    • L&T Finance Ltd. won fresh orders worth Rs.1,52,908 crore at the group level during the said fiscal registering an incline of 7% compared to the previous fiscal.

    Hinning Holck Larsen and Soren Kristian Toubro are the two engineers who founded Larsen & Toubro in the year 1938 in India. After India was free from the British Rule, Larsen & Toubro set up offices in Kolkata, Chennai, and New Delhi. The Mumbai office was established in the year 1948. In the year 1950, Larsen & Toubro turned into a public company with paid-up capital of Rs.20 lakh. The sales turnover for Larsen & Toubro stood at Rs.1.09 crore that year.
