This loan is provided in order to offer financial support to any person for any need. It can be used for all kinds of legitimate needs such as education, medical treatment, wedding arrangements, travel expenses, etc. The minimum quantum of this loan is Rs.50,000 and the maximum quantum is Rs.4 lakh or 20 times the monthly net salary, whichever is lower. As a form of security, the applicant will have to give a third party guarantee, whichever is accepted by the bank. This loan will have to be repaid within 60 months.
This loan is given exclusively to those who take out pension through Punjab National Bank. One can utilise this loan for any personal requirements and these can include medical expenditures as well. Any pensioner who takes a pension from any PNB branch can apply for this loan. The minimum amount offered by this loan is Rs.25,000 and the maximum amount ranges from Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh OR 18 times of the net monthly pension, whichever is lower. This loan will need to be repaid through 60 EMIs. If a pensioner’s age is higher than 70 years, then he or she will need to repay it through 24 EMIs. The interest rate for this loan is MCLR + 2.80%.
This loan is given for reasons such as medical treatment, agriculture, education, wedding arrangements, and any other legitimate reason. The maximum loan quantum for non-productive purposes is Rs.10 lakh. The margin for the bullet payment option is 35%. For interest payment, the margin is 25%. As a collateral, the applicant can give gold jewellery or gold coins that are provided by PNB or any other scheduled bank. The interest rate for this product is MCLR + 1.60% or 2.60%.
