What is a Water Bill?
A water bill is a periodic charge levied on consumers for water supply and sewerage services. It typically includes three components: a Service Charge (linked to consumption slabs), a Sewerage Maintenance Charge (based on volumetric consumption), and in some cases an Additional Sewerage Charge for non-government units using alternative water sources like tankers or groundwater.
Bills can be paid online (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, e-wallets, NEFT/RTGS) or offline (by visiting the nearest water supply office with cash, cheque, or card).

1. Delhi — Delhi Jal Board (DJB)

Key ID: KNO (13-character code starting with "DJB")
How to check & pay online:
- Visit the DJB customer portal → Select "View/Print Latest Bill" or "Pay Online" → Enter your KNO number → Choose payment mode.
Duplicate Bill: Enter your 10-digit connection number on the DJB site → Download PDF.
New Connection: Apply online on the DJB portal or collect the form from a Zonal Revenue Office (ZRO).

2. Kerala — Kerala Water Authority (KWA)
Website: epay.kwa.gov.in
How to pay online:
- Visit epay.kwa.gov.in → Search bill using Consumer ID or registered mobile number → Confirm Payment → Download receipt.
Offline: Visit the nearest KWA office.
Third-party apps: Paytm, Google Pay, etc. are supported. No prior registration required.

3. Haryana — HSVP (formerly HUDA)
Website: waterbilling.hsvphry.org.in
Coverage: Gurgaon, Karnal, Panchkula, Sonipat, Faridabad, and other districts.
How to pay online:
- Visit the portal → Select Site Code → Enter Consumer Number → Click "Make Payment" → Choose payment mode → Download receipt.
Download Bill: Submit Consumer Number on the portal → Click "Download Bill" (PDF format).
New Connection: Login with HUDA credentials → Click "Apply Water Connection" → Fill form → Accept T&C → Click Apply. Approval notified via SMS.

4. Bangalore — BWSSB (Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board)
Coverage: Entire 800 sq km BBMP area.
Key ID: RR Number (8-digit)
How to pay online:
- BWSSB Portal: Enter RR number under "Pay your bills"
- Paytm: Water Bill → Karnataka → BWSSB → Enter RR number
- Amazon Pay: Water Bill → Karnataka → BWSSB → Enter consumer number → Fetch Bill
- BWSSB Mobile App: Download from Play Store → Bill Payment → Enter RR number
Offline: Visit BangaloreOne centres (find via Karnataka One portal → Utilities → Water Bill Payment Bengaluru → View Centers).
Note: Net banking is not accepted. Installment payments are not allowed.
5. Mumbai — MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai)

How to pay online:
- MCGM Website: Citizen Login → Water Bill Payment → Enter CCN → Online Payment → Select gateway
- MyBMC24×7 App: Download app → Register → Make Payment → Water Bill → Enter CCN
Download/View Bill: Visit MCGM portal → Download bills/receipts → Enter CCN → Choose Duplicate Bill/Receipt

- Google Pay: Search "Goa PWD - Water" → Link Consumer Number → Pay
