    If you have registered for the bank’s missed call banking service, SBI Quick, you can get any banking related information by giving a missed call.

    To register for this service, here are the steps you need to follow:

    • Type ‘REG <space> account number’ and send an SMS to 09223488888
    • You will receive a confirmation message if the registration has been successful. You can then proceed to start using missed call and SMS banking services.

    If the registration is unsuccessful, check the SMS format and the phone number you have sent the SMS to. If everything is correct and you are still unable to register, you can register for the service by visiting the branch.

    SBI Personal Loan offline complaint form

    If you decide to visit the branch and register your complaint, you will have to fill out a form. The form is available for download on the bank’s website. You can print it, provide the required details and submit it to a bank official.

    Steps to file a complaint with SBI

    Step 1: Contact the respective branch manager, send an email, call the toll-free numbers, or send an SMS to the bank to file your complaint.

    Step 2: If your concern hasn’t been addressed within 10 days from the date of the complaint was registered or you are not satisfied with the solution presented, you can contact the network nodal officer. Their numbers have been provided city-wise in a table above.

    Alternatively, you can write to the chairman of State Bank of India.

    Step 3: If 30 days into the registration of your complaint, it has still not been resolved or you are not satisfied with the solution provided, contact the Banking Ombudsman. Make sure you contact the ombudsman whose jurisdiction falls within that of the branch you are banking with.

    1. I have a grievance that I want to discuss with a bank executive personally. Is this possible?

      Yes, you can always visit the bank branch and speak to the Branch Manager regarding any grievance or suggestion you may have. The Branch Manager will be available from the 15th to the 25th of every month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    2. There has been an unauthorized transaction through my SBI account. What should I do?

      If an unauthorized transaction has been carried out through your account, you should immediately raise a complaint. You can easily raise a complaint through the bank’s online portal by filling in a simple form.

    3. I’m happy with the services of SBI. How do I appreciate the services provided?

      You can download the appreciation/compliments form from SBI’s official website, fill it up, and hand it over at the nearest bank branch.

    4. How do I find the nearest SBI ATM?

      You can visit SBI’s website to locate the nearest SBI ATM. You will be given options to view regular ATMs, talking ATMs, and metro ATMs. You can select your state, city, and whether you are looking for an SBI ATM or SBI Associate ATM. The details of the ATMs in your area will then be displayed.

    5. What is the process to claim or activate my account that has been unclaimed?

      To activate your unclaimed deposit account, you can submit a duly-filled claim form along with details of the account, photographs, ID proof, and address proof.

      Even legal heirs can claim unclaimed deposits. Legal heirs will also have to submit a claim form along with the passbook/receipts of the deposit, ID proofs of the claimant, and a copy of the death certificate of the account holder.
