Grievance Redressal at Karnataka Bank

  1. Step 1: The complainant can reach out to the concerned Branch Head regarding his or her grievance redressal.
  2. Step 2:If the complaint or feedback isn't amended by the Branch Head or the resolution doesn't seem satisfying, the applicant can get in touch with the bank's concerned Regional Office.
  3. Step 3: If the petitioner isn't satisfied with the outcome of his or her feedback or grievance, he or she can further approach the Head Office regarding the matter.

If the complaint isn't resolved by the bank or the applicant finds the resolution unsatisfactory, he or she may contact the Banking Ombudsman in accord to the Banking Ombudsman Scheme, 2006 for an adequate resolution.

KBL Suvidha OD

KBL Suvidha OD is the personal loan offered by the Karnataka Bank to take care of the financial aspect of your personal requirements.

KBL Suvidha OD eligibility criteria:

  1. The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  2. The individual must be of minimum 21 years of age.
  3. If the applicant is a salaried professional, his or her gross monthly salary must be Rs.10,000 or above.
  4. If the claimant is retired, he or she must have a separate disposable income other than pension.
  5. If the candidate is neither a salaried professional nor retired, his or her minimum annual gross income should be Rs.1,20,000.

KBL Suvidha OD additional points to be noted:

  1. The maximum applicable loan amount is twice the average income for the past 2 years or 24 times the latest take-home salary of the applicant.
  2. The minimum loan amount offered in the scheme is Rs.1 lakh while the maximum is Rs.25 lakh.
  3. The policy offers flexible loan repayment tenure with a maximum of 24 months.
  4. As security, the candidate has to mortgage his or her residential/commercial properties, or provide liquid securities amounting to a minimum of 150% of the loan amount.
  5. Under this plan, the spouse must offer loan guarantee if feasible. Otherwise, a third party solvent guarantor is required.
  6. A margin of 33.33% on the security amount is applicable.
  7. The rate of interest is 13.95% as of January 2018

KBL Salaried Persons Scheme

Karnataka Bank offers an attractive personal loan scheme to finance the personal requirements of salaried individuals. This loan can used for various purposes such as purchase of any consumer durables or household items, repair of the applicant's residential property, payment of medical bills of self or dependant, expenses at family functions, child's educational expenses, payments for funeral costs, and many more.

KBL Salaried Persons Scheme eligibility criteria:

  1. The candidate must be a permanent employee of a renowned company, school, college, or university
  2. The salaried individual must have a minimum of 3 years till retirement
  3. The minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years

KBL Salaried Persons Scheme key points:

  1. The maximum applicable loan can be 10 times the monthly gross salary of the applicant.
  2. A candidate can withdraw a maximum of Rs.5 lakh as loan amount.
  3. This scheme has flexible repayment tenure subject to a maximum of 60 months.
  4. If the loan amount is less than Rs.3 lakh, the co-obligation of a solvent party is required. This individual must be a permanent co-worker at a listed college, school, university, or company.
  5. In case the loan amount is more than Rs.3 lakh, co-obligation of a solvent party along with a liquid security of LIC plans (surrender value), National Savings Certificates (NSC), or deposits should be provided. The co-signer should be be a permanent co-worker at a listed college, school, university, or company.
  6. The interest rate for this policy is 12.50%.
