The Tamil Nadu government awards the first graduate credential to students from non-graduate families, or sometimes no graduate certificate at all. The certificate is given to qualified students by the tahsildar of the Income Tax department of the Tamil Nadu Administration upon their high school graduation. Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for first graduate certificate -
Step 1: Go to the official e-district Tamil Nadu website.
Step 2: From the drop-down option, choose Certificate Service. Certificate Service must be chosen by the applicant.
Step 3: Enter your password and username here. Next, the candidate needs to provide their login and password to log in.
Step 4: Save the document on your computer. When the login and password have been entered, the certificate application form can be downloaded.
Step 5: Fill in all your data and submit the documents.
Users can monitor the status of their certificate application and the revenue department's web portal simultaneously after uploading the required paperwork and submitting their application. Take the following actions to verify the application's status
Step 1: Enter your login credentials to gain access to the TN e-Sevai online site.
Step 2: Navigate to the service tab on your dashboard and choose the "check status" option.
Step 3: This service allows you to display the current state of your application.
Once issued, the First Graduate Certificate is valid for three years. To make the most of its benefits, apply for the certificate soon after completing high school. This certificate can then be used to access reduced tuition fees and other qualifying grants for first-year students during university admissions.
The application fee for the first graduate certificate is Rs.60.
Only in the absence of any graduates in the family—including siblings who did not get the first graduate scholarship or fee reduction—is the first graduate certificate available. First Graduate Certificate is issued by the Tamil Nadu government's Tahsildar.
