    All Central and State government pensioners, including Telecom, Railways and Defence retirees and pensioners of banks who have their pension accounts managed by SBH or its branches are eligible for the Prashanti Scheme. If the pensioner is under 72 years of age when availing the scheme, he/she must be under 74 years of age when they fully repay the loan. If the pensioner is between 72 years and 75 years of age when availing the scheme, they must be under 77 years of age when the loan is fully repaid.
