Oriental Bank of Commerce offers multiple options to cardholders to pay their credit card bills. People can use either an online or an offline mode of payment to make bill payments. They are allowed to make the payment using their Oriental Bank of Commerce bank account or through a bank account they hold with another bank. Cardholders who hold the OBC – SBI credit cards have extra options as they can use the payment modes of SBI bank to pay their credit card bills as well. Apart from this, the bank has services which inform cardholders about their bill status and send them reminders every month so that they don’t miss the payment due date.
Oriental Bank of Commerce customers can pay their monthly credit card bills online using the PAYNET – Pay Online service. To use the service, cardholders should follow the steps mentioned below –
To pay your credit card bills via VISA Credit Card Pay you have to login to the net banking account of your bank, go to ‘Third Party Funds Transfer’ and select the ‘Visa Credit Card Pay’ option. You have to provide the required information in order to start the funds transfer process and click on ‘Confirm’ to confirm the transaction. Once you confirm, the amount will be deducted from your account and within 3 working days it will reflect in your credit card.
Oriental Bank of Commerce cardholders can pay their credit card bills using the NEFT facility. To make the payment, they have to first login to the net banking service of their bank, select ‘Third Party Funds Transfer’ and add SBI Card as the beneficiary. They have to use SBIN00CARDS as the IFSC code and then enter the OBC – SBI Card number in the account number section. In the bank name section, they have to enter ‘SBI Credit Card – NEFT’ and in the address section, they have to write ‘Payment Systems Group, State Bank GITC, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai’. After entering the details, they have to click on the submit button and the payment will reflect within 1 working day.
Oriental Bank of Commerce Credit cardholders can pay their credit card bills over the counter via cash at any State Bank of India branch. They need to simply visit the branch, fill the pay- in slip and submit it at the counter. They will receive an acknowledgement receipt from the bank in return.
Oriental Bank of Commerce credit cardholders can pay their credit card bills at any Easy Bill Outlets. To make the payment, they have to visit the Outlet nearest to them and provide their credit card number, amount that has to be paid and their contact number. An electronic receipt will be given to them once they make the payment and the money will be reflected within 3 working days. The Outlet will take Rs.15 as service charge for an amount of up to Rs.5000 and Rs.25 for an amount exceeding Rs.5000.
Oriental Bank of Commerce credit cardholders can pay their monthly credit card bills via cheque at any branch of the bank. To make the payment, they have to visit the branch nearest to them and fill the cheque and give it to the teller at the counter.
Oriental Bank of Commerce credit cardholders can pay their credit card bills by dropping a cheque at any SBI Drop Box. They have to mention their credit card number on the cheque and must provide their name and phone number at the back of the cheque. In the Payee name section, they have to write ‘SBI Card No. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX’ (X denotes the 16 digit credit card number). Before dropping the cheque, ensure that the amount, date and signature are correct. This payment takes 4 working days to reflect in the credit card account.
Credit cardholders of Oriental Bank of Commerce receive an e-statement every month on their email IDs. Apart from this, they can also check their credit card statement on their net banking accounts and by using the bank’s Mobile Banking service. They can also find all the information related to their credit card from SBI as the OBC credit cards are issued in partnership with SBI. Credit cardholders can avail a duplicate copy of their card statements as well. SBI has a SMS service called SBI Card Alerts, which sends all the information of the credit card to the cardholders via SMS.
