    Oriental Bank of Commerce Net banking

    Net Banking is available for all the customers who hold an account with the bank. Payment through net banking is also available for the customers who do not hold an OBC account. In order to pay your credit card bill through net banking, here are the steps which you need to follow:

    • Log in to your Oriental Bank of Commerce account or your savings bank net banking account.
    • If you hold an OBC account, you will have to select the 'credit card' tab and click on your registered credit card.
    • Once done, you will have to add the amount which needs to be paid and click on 'pay'. The money will be debited from your account and you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
    • If you do not hold an OBC account, you will be required to log in to your savings bank net banking account and click on the credit card tab.
    • Once you do, you have to click on the 'pay' option and enter your credit card details such as the card number and IFSC code.
    • Once your credit card is registered, you can enter the amount and pay the bill.

    Oriental Bank of Commerce Mobile Banking

    Mobile banking is also another method of paying the credit card bill. Most banks including OBC offer mobile banking services for its customers. You will need to download the OBC mobile app of your bank. In order to pay your credit card bill through mobile banking, here are the few steps you need to follow:

    • Log in to the mobile app of Oriental Bank of Commerce and click on the 'pay' tab. A list of options will appear from which you will have to select 'credit card'.
    • After you have selected the credit card payment, you will have to register your credit card by entering the card number and the IFSC code.
    • Only after the card is registered, you will be allowed to make payments.
    • Once the card is registered, you will have to enter the bill amount and click on pay and the money will be debited from your account. You will receive an e-mail or mobile confirmation of the transaction.

    Auto-Debit

    The auto-debit feature is one of the most common methods of payment for credit cards. In this method, the payment for the credit card is automatically debited from your savings account on the due date. While applying for the credit card, you can opt for the auto-debit form of payment where you submit your savings account details such as the account number and IFSC code. Once done, at the end of the billing cycle, OBC will debit the bill amount directly from your account. If you opt for an auto-debit method of payment in the middle of the month, the bill amount will be subjected to auto-debit from the following month.

    RTGS

    RTGS or Real Time Gross Settlement is another form of online payment for your credit card bill. In this method, you will have to log in to your net banking service and register your credit card. Once your credit card is registered, you can click to pay your bill amount by selecting RTGS payment. However, RTGS payment is only applicable for large amount transactions, if your credit card bill is more than Rs.2 lakh.

    Paytm

    You can now pay your credit card bill through Paytm as well. Initially, you could only pay your VISA credit card bills through Paytm but now any VISA and MasterCard credit card bill can be paid through the app or the website. If you wish to pay your credit card bill through the Paytm app, here are the steps which you need to follow:

    • Log in to your Paytm app and under the category of 'recharge and bill payments', click on credit card.
    • Once you do, you will need to enter your credit card number and the bill amount.
    • After that, you will need to select the mode of payment which can be through your Paytm wallet or any other savings account which is already linked to your Paytm account.
    • You can also pay your credit card bill through net banking from your Paytm account.

    BillDesk

    Another method by which you can pay your credit card bill is through BillDesk. BillDesk is an online website which allows you to make all kinds of payments from telephone bills to electricity bills along with gas and mobile phone bills. To pay your credit card bill through BillDesk, here are some of the steps you need to follow:

    • First, you will be required to register with BillDesk in order to receive any kind of bills and make online payments.
    • Once you are registered, you will have to choose your billers and payees from whom you would want to receive your bills electronically.
    • Every month when the biller raises your bill, you will get an e-mail about the same
    • Once you receive an e-mail copy of your bill through the website you can authorize BillDesk to pay the bill amount of your credit card and also the time at which the payment is to be made.
    • After the payment is made, you will get an e-mail confirmation about the same.

    UPI

    In order to pay your credit card bill through UPI, you will need to register yourself through the BHIM app which is available on Google's Play Store. Here are the steps which need to be followed to pay your credit card bill with UPI:

    • Download BHIM app from Playstore
    • On your smartphone, activate BHIM with the mobile number registered with your bank accounts
    • Create UPI account with a four-digit security PIN to secure Access
    • Add your Bank account you want to use for credit and debit through UPI from the list of attached bank account with your mobile number.
    • Use Debit card details for authentication and set your UPI PIN to protect UPI transactions.

    ATM

    You can pay your credit card bill at any Oriental Bank of Commerce ATM. You will have to visit the ATM and select the deposit option and not withdrawal. Once you do, you will have to enter the credit card number or the account number. You will have to deposit the bill amount and click on submit. The money will be credited to your credit card account. It must be noted that not all ATMs have the provision of depositing money. It is advised to check before making the transaction.

    Draft

    The credit card payment can also be done through a demand draft. The demand draft will need to have your credit card number or account number and the bill amount. It must be submitted at the branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce. A draft payment takes up to 3 working days to get cleared.

    Cash
