Please note that this scheme can invest a maximum of 30% of its net assets in securitised debts. This mutual fund can invest in equity derivatives up to 50% of its net assets subject to the limit imposed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) at the time. This scheme might also invest in foreign securities and derivatives based on the guidelines imposed by SEBI, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) or any other regulatory body.
It should be further noted that this fund might engage in short-selling of securities as per the SEBI framework. The scheme might also deploy up to 20% of its total in stock lending. While the maximum investment in ETFs can be 15% of the net assets, the same will be up to 30% in case of stocks listed on the SME platform of NSE and BSE. Additionally, the investment in foreign securities, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) and can be up to 30% of the net assets. Furthermore, this scheme does not participate in repo or reverse repo of credit default swaps and corporate debt securities.
NAV Disclosure and Benchmark for Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund - Growth Option
NAV - Under this mutual fund scheme, the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the units for a particular day is used to determine the prices for the purchases and switch-outs worth equal to or more than Rs.2 lakh. The NAV shall be subject to realisation of the funds by 3:00 p.m., in addition to the time the application is received. The AMC must calculate the NAV for each working day and publish it in at least 2 daily newspapers with countrywide circulation. Additionally, the NAV should be updated on the official website of the AMC at www.principalindia.com. The AMC is also required to display the NAV on the website of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) at www.amfiindia.com by 9:00 p.m. of each business day or any other time as outlined by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidelines.
