The Principal Cash Management Fund - Daily Dividend is an open-ended liquid scheme from Principal Mutual Fund, an asset management firm managed by Principal Asset Management Pvt. Ltd. The 102 investor centres and 22,000 empanelled distributors of the fund house are responsible for effectively handling the investments of 5 lakh customers.

The Principal Cash Management Fund invests in money market and debt securities whose maturity is lesser than 91 days. The daily dividend option of the scheme will allow the investors to enjoy a facility wherein the dividend earned by the scheme will be reinvested back into the scheme on a daily basis and at applicable NAVs.

The NAV (Net Asset Value) of the Principal Cash Management Fund is computed by dividing the net assets of the scheme (market or fair value of the scheme’s investments + receivables + accrued income + other assets - accrued expenses - payables - other liabilities) by the number of outstanding units under the scheme on the date of valuation.

The NAV will be calculated, disclosed, and sent for publication to at least 2 newspapers with nationwide circulation on each business day. The computed NAV will be displayed by the fund house on its website (www.principalindia.com) by 9:00 p.m. on the NAV declaration day. The website of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) will also publish the NAV on its website at www.amfiindia.com.

The fund manager of the Principal Cash Management Fund is Mr. Pankaj Jain who has been managing the fund since January 2012. Mr. Jain has over 16 years of experience in the fixed income segment and he was earlier associated with Taurus Mutual Fund, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Edelweiss Capital, and State Bank of India (Treasury) and Thermax Ltd. The other schemes managed by him include Principal Ultra Short Term Fund, Principal Low Duration Fund, and Principal Equity Savings Fund.
