Investment Restrictions of ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund - Direct Plan - Growth

The following investment restrictions are applicable for this scheme at the time of making investments:

  • More than 10% of the NAV cannot be invested in a mutual fund scheme on debt instruments that comprise non-money market instruments and money market instruments which are not rated below investment grade by a credit rating agency and have been issued by a single issuer. The credit rating agency must have the authority to carry out this activity under the Act.
  • More than 10% of its NAV cannot be invested by a mutual fund scheme on un-rated debt instruments that have been issued by a single issuer. The total investment should not exceed 25% of the NAV of the scheme.
  • The Scheme may invest in other schemes that are under the same AMC or any other Mutual Funds without charging any fees. This, however has certain restrictions and conditions and will only be done if all the criteria are satisfied.
  • Investments can be transferred from one Scheme to another in the same Mutual Fund provided these transfers are done at the current market price of these quoted instruments.
  • No investment will be made by the scheme in Fund of Funds scheme.
  • The scheme cannot advance any loan for any purpose whatsoever.
  • More than 5% of the NAV cannot be invested in the equity related instruments or unlisted equity shares by a mutual fund scheme in case it is an open ended scheme.
  • The regulations that are generally applicable when you are investing mutual funds will be followed by the scheme from time to time.
  • The fund will not own more than 10% of the company’s paid up capital carrying voting rights.
