Investment Restrictions of ICICI Prudential MidCap Fund - Growth

  • More than 10% of the NAV of a fund scheme cannot be invested in debt investments that have non-money market instruments and money market instruments issued by a single issuer that are rated above the investment grade by a credit rating agency.
  • More than 10% of the company’s capital carrying voting rights shall not be owned by the fund under all its schemes.
  • The securities purchased in the name of the fund shall get transferred in the name of the fund when the investments are mainly made keeping the long-term future in mind.
  • No investments shall be made by the mutual funds in:
    • Securities that have been issued by private placement by a group company or an associate of the sponsor.
    • Listed securities in excess of 25% of the net assets. The listed securities should be of the group companies of the sponsor.
    • Unlisted security of a group company or associate of the sponsor.
  • No investments shall be made in Fund of Funds scheme.
  • More than 10% of the NAV of the company shall not be invested in equity or equity related instruments.
  • The scheme cannot advance loans for any purpose whatsoever.
  • In case of an open ended scheme, more than 5% of the NAV of the mutual fund scheme cannot be invested in unlisted equity shares or equity related instruments.
  • If more than 5 % of the NAV is invested by the company in any scheme, these investments made by this scheme or any other schemes of the mutual funds of the same company will be revealed in accordance with SEBI Regulations.
  • Regulations that are applicable to mutual fund investment will be followed by the scheme from time to time.
