The computation is done on the basis of the recommendations of the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996. The following formula is used for the computation:
Net Asset Value (NAV) = (Market value or Fair value of the investments made by the scheme + Current Assets - Current Liabilities and Provisions) / Number of outstanding units under the scheme on the date of computation.
