- Individuals who are diagnosed with AIDS are excluded from the plan.

- Accidental death due to an injury or ailment that was known to the insured 48 months prior to availing reinstatement of the policy will be excluded from coverage.
- Accidental death due to high-risk sporting or adventure activities is excluded from coverage.
- Death due to suicide or self-inflicted injury is excluded from coverage.
- Death due to the effect of illicit drugs is excluded from coverage.
- Death due to service in armed forces is excluded from coverage.
- Death due to participation in strikes, civil commotion, terrorism, and criminal activity is excluded from coverage.
- Death due to suicide within 12 months of the policy’s term results in payment of 80% of the premium.
- In instances where the insured commits suicide within 12 months of the revival period, above 80% of the premium is refunded.
