To be able to buy this policy you need to be between the ages of 18 years and 65 years.
The sum insured can range from Rs. 2.5 lakhs to 15 lakhs
Waiting period for cover for critical illness to begin is 90 days
Survival period is 30 days from the first diagnosis
The policy provides cover for the following 11 critical illnesses
First Heart Attack
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
Kidney Failure Requiring Dialysis
Major Organ and Bone Marrow Transplant
Loss of sight
The policy comes with a free look period of 15 days.
In case you fail to make premium payments on time you have a grace period of 30 days.
The sum insured can be enhanced when renewing the policy.
The premiums paid towards this policy are eligible for tax benefits under section 80D.
In case you are diagnosed with a critical illness, a second opinion will be covered under this policy.
Pre-existing conditions and resultant complications will not be covered.
Exposure to radioactivity, nuclear material or toxic substances will not be covered.
