UBS IFSC Code:

UBS provides its customers with a secure online money transfer method in the NEFT and RTGS services. The IFSC code of the beneficiary’s bank branch as well as the donor’s bank branch are to be provided when initiating a fund transfer using the NEFT or RTGS services.

The IFSC or Indian Financial Systems Code is a unique 11 character code that is assigned to every bank branch that is part of the NEFT network.

The IFSC code consists of the bank name, the number “0” as well as the unique branch code. For example, the IFSC code for the UBS branch located in Mumbai is UBSW0000001, where “UBSW” is the bank code, followed by the number “0” and “000001” is the Mumbai branch code.

How to Search for UBS IFSC Code and MICR Code?

The code for a particular bank branch can be found both offline as well as online.

Offline, the code can be found on cheque leaves issued by the particular bank branch. It can also be found on the first page of a passbook issued by the branch.

To find the code online, visit the UBS website, which will list the codes for all bank branches. Alternatively, the code can also be found on BankBazaar, where IFSC and MICR codes of all bank branches affiliated to the NEFT network can be found.

NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer):

The service is available during banking hours and transfer requests can be made wherever you are, with the requests being settled in hourly batches.

The service is not available on banking holidays and requests received on those days or after the close of banking hours would be settled on the following day.

RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement):

RTGS services are another means of transferring funds electronically using a secure and convenient method. RTGS is the fastest fund transfer service in the country, with requests being settled individually as soon as they are received.

Similar to NEFT, the service is available during banking hours and requests received on bank holidays or after banking hours are settled on the next working day.
