The State Bank of Patiala is now a part of the well-known public sector bank State Bank of India (SBI). The bank gives customers a good interest rate on their fixed deposits (FDs) along with a number of other perks. One can go for different types of tenure ranges which starts with a minimum of at least 7 days. Before applying for a term deposit, it is advisable to do a through comparison of all interest rates.
The State Bank of Patiala, along with 4 other associate banks, and Bharatiya Mahila Bank, became one with the SBI on April 1, 2017. As a consequence of this, the IFSC codes of these banks were revised. Apart from this, as far as fixed deposits are concerned, the domestic term deposit rates paid will be the same as that paid on SBI fixed deposits.
