Rates of Interest Revised by Deutsche Bank for Fixed Deposits
Deutsche Bank has revised the fixed deposit rates on and from 13 the August, 2016. The domestic rates of interest have been deceased. For tenure of 1 year to 1.5 years, the rate has decreased by 0.25%, bringing it down to 7% from 7.25%. The same is applicable for tenure of 1.5 years to 2 years and 2 years to 3 years. For the senior citizens with FD tenure of 3 years to 4 years, the rate of interest has gone down by 0.50%. Previously it was 8.00% and currently it stands at 7.50%.

Changes in Term Deposit Rates for Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank has witnessed consecutive rate cuts on its term deposits. This follows the directive released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on repo rate cut-downs. Over time, the interest rates of deposits on every time slab have been slashed. The revised rates of interest are applicable from April 22, 2016.
The time period of more than 1 years to 1.5 years; more than 1.5 years to 2 years; and more than 2 years to 3 years, has interest rate at 7.50% per annum. An interest rate of 7.75% per annum is applied for term deposits with tenures more than 3 years to 4 years; and more than 4 years to less than 5 years. The highest rate of interest currently offered by Deutsche Bank is capped at 8.5% per annum and is applicable for deposits of 5 years.

Fixed Deposit Rates for Deutsche Bank
A multinational financial services provider and one of the largest financial conglomerate, the term deposits offered by Deutsche Bank are the most sought after in the market. The rate of interest for fixed deposits are quite competitive.
For tenors 46 to 59 days; 60 to 89 days; 90 to 99 days; 100 days; 101 to 180 days; and 181 to 270 days, the interest rate applicable is 6%. The fixed deposit with tenure 271 days to 1 year has a rate of 6.25%. All these revised rates are effective from April 01, 2016.

Deutsche Bank Increases FD Interest Rates
While most Indian banks have been reducing their fixed deposit rates on various tenures, Deutsche Bank has increased their FD interest rates on certain tenures on Thursday.
The bank raised its rates from 7.75 percent earlier to 8 percent for the tenures of 1 year to less than 1.5 years, 1.5 years to less than 2 years, and 2 years to less than 3 years. The interest rate for deposits of 3 to less than 4 years and from 4 years to less than 5 years have been increased from 8 percent earlier to 8.25 percent now. The bank also made upward revision to the 5-year fixed deposit from 8.75 percent to 9 percent.
These interest rates are applicable to deposits of less than Rs. 1 crore.

Deustche Bank changes its Fixed Deposit Rates
Deustche Bank had been one of the few banks which had been very slow in imposing the repo rate changes in its base rates. That resulted in higher rates for loans and other credit facilities, but at the same time it also prevented the fixed deposit rates from slipping down further than many other contemporary banks’ rates.
February 2016 sees the least rate of interest offered at 4% per annum for a period of 7 days tenure. For 8 to 14 days, the interest rate is 5.50% per annum and it increases by 0.25% for tenures of 15 days to 30 days. For 31 days to 45 days, the interest rate offered is 6% per annum. Another 0.25% increase makes the effective interest rate as 6.25% per annum for periods of 46 days to 89 days. The rate increases to 6.5% per annum for deposit tenures of 90 days to 270 days. For 271 days up to 1 year, the interest rate on offer is 6.75% per annum. For tenures more than 1 year till 3 years, the interest rates increases by 1% making it 7.75% per annum. For periods greater than 3 years but lesser than 5 years, the interest rate is 8% per annum. For periods equalling 5 years, the highest rate of interest at 8.75% per annum is applicable.
Senior citizens enjoy an additional rate of interest provided the deposit tenure is more than a year.

Fixed deposits products from Deutsche Bank are highly sought-after owing to the attractive interest rates. The rate of interest at Deutsche Bank has been revised according to the directive from Reserve Bank of India.
The highest rate of 8.50% applicable on 5 year fixed term deposits, has been revised and increased by around 0.25%. The current rate of interest offered is 8.75%.

Deutsche Bank Fixed Deposit Rates Slashed
While the interest rates of many kinds of loans from Deutsche Bank have donned values a few sizes small, consecutive rate cuts have also been imposed by the bank on its deposits. The savings accounts have relatively borne less curtailing as compared to fixed deposits. The bank has eleven different slabs for deposits that range from short term to very long terms.
While rates of almost every slab dealing with fixed deposits have been reduced over time, as of November 2015, there has been a single change in the rate offering on the deposit slab ranging from 8 days to 14 days. The lowest rate on offer is still 4% per annum for a period of 7 days, while the slab of 8 to 14 days now has an interest rate of 6% per annum. The highest interest rate currently offered by the bank is capped at 8.5% per annum and is valid for deposits of 5 years.
