    Those who already have a savings bank account with TMB will be able to open an FD account online through their net banking facility. Those who do not have an account can also open a term deposit online after open a savings bank account and getting their net banking account activated.     Given below is the process involved in opening an FD account online with TMB through netbanking: 

    Step 1: Login to the TMB internet banking portal by keying in username and password

    Step 2: Go to the home page and click on the ‘Open Fixed Deposit’ tab

    Step 3: Choose the type of term deposit you want to open, type of interest payout option and the tenure

    Step 4: Proceed to fill in all details and choose the savings bank account from which the money should be debited and credited to the FD account.

    The FD account will be opened in a maximum of 2 working days. A confirmation message in this regard will be sent to your registered phone number and email ID.
