What is the Minimum Due Amount?
The minimum amount that is due every month, is a higher of the following-
5% of outstanding statement, or
Total amount of all the billed installments, fees, interest and other charges. In addition to this, the overlimit amount and 1% of principal will be added, or
In case customers have an unpaid minimum amount which has been carried over from the previous month, this will also get added to the due amount for the current month.
If the statement balance is below Rs.250 or in case of default, the entire outstanding amount will have to be paid. Customers are also advised to pay more than their minimum due amount every month, to stay financially safe.
