Samsung Pay is an inbuilt feature that is available on Samsung phones. This feature allows users to make payments using their Samsung phone. This safe, secure, and easy-to-use mobile payment service allows Citibank credit card holders to make in-store payments using their phone. Samsung could introduce such great feature using technologies like Near Field Communication (NFC) and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST). For now, Samsung Pay feature is available only for in-store payments and not online or app-based payments.

Yes. You can register the same Citibank credit card on up to 4 Samsung phones. However, when you make a payment using anyone of these devices, the OTP will be sent to your registered phone number as per the bank’s records.

Yes. You have to use your fingerprint to make a payment using Samsung Pay. If your fingerprint is not recognised, you can enter the Samsung Pay PIN you created while setting your account.
If you lose your phone, you will have to contact Citibank’s 24-hour hotline at 18602102484. The Device Card Number of your Citibank credit card will be blocked. You can still use your Citibank credit card through other channels.
You will have to download the Samsung Pay app on your new phone and register your Citibank credit card once again. Please make sure you delete the registered cards on your previous devices.
