Once the bank receives your application, you are likely to receive a call from the respective department. Clear all your doubts over the call while the executive will let you know about the further application process.
Yes. A card transaction will be processed only when the minimum transaction value is Rs.400. Similarly, the maximum transaction value is Rs.3,500 on a single swipe. For any transaction above the value, you need to swipe the card twice.
For retail transactions, cardholders can enjoy up to 48 days of interest-free period. However, for cash transactions, there will be no interest-free period and the charges will be levied from the date of cash withdrawal till the dues are paid in full.
Any loss or theft of the credit card should be reported immediately to Kotak customer care centre at 1860 266 2666. Also, make sure to block your card to prevent misuse.
In case of a fraudulent transaction on your credit card, you need to register a claim with the bank by calling the same customer care number. Alternatively, you can also send an e-mail through your Kotak internet banking account for registering the claim.
Once you register the claim, you need to send the customer dispute form along with an FIR copy to the bank through mail or fax. The copies can be faxed to 022 – 66466901 or mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
