      You can follow the steps mentioned below to report a disputed transaction through the online portal of the bank:

      • Step 1: Log in to the online portal of the bank at www.citibank.co.in.
      • Step 2: Navigate to the Credit Card section and click on the card for which you want to raise a complaint.
      • Step 3: Scroll down to the end of the account statement and select the ‘Dispute’ option.
      • Step 4: Click on the transaction for which you want to raise the dispute.

    Citibank Credit Card Dispute Resolution Process

    Once you raise a dispute and the same is accepted by the bank, a provisional credit will be provided against the disputed amount on the basis of the type of the transaction. However, if the dispute is not accepted by the bank, you will be required to make the payment for the same on or before the due date as per the statement of the credit card.

    In general, a maximum period of 90 days will be taken to resolve a dispute in regard to a credit card transaction. This period is subject to the guidelines of Visa and MasterCard.
