ICICI Bank account holders will be able to link their Aadhaar card with their bank account through multiple ways. Given below are the different methods that can be used:
- iMobile
- ATM
- Internet Banking
- Phone Banking
- Branch walk-in
- iMobile: Those who have downloaded the ICICI iMobile app can initiate the linking process in the following ways:
- Login to the app
- Go to the services option, choose ‘Instantbanking Services’ and then tap on ‘Update Aadhaar’
- Proceed to key in the Aadhaar number and click on submit the request
- ATM: The other option is to visit the nearest ATM and initiate the linking process by following the below steps:
- Insert the debit card and choose the language option
- Login with the respective ATM pin
- Choose the more option and click on Aadhaar updation
- Key in the Aadhaar number, enter it again and proceed to submit
- Internet Banking: Those customers who have an active internet banking account can initiate the process by following the below steps:
- Login to the respective internet banking portal with username and password
- Click on the update Aadhaar option
- Enter the Aadhaar number, re-enter the same and click on ‘Submit’
- Phone Banking: One of the other methods that can be used to carry out the linking process is by phone banking. Given below are the steps to do the same:
- Key in the customer care number
- Go to the option menu and choose language
- Hit the number ‘1’ key, enter Aadhaar number and PIN
- Click number ‘1’ again to update Aadhaar
- Enter Aadhaar number and confirm details
- Branch walk-in: Those who prefer to walk-in to the nearest branch can also do the same and carry out the linking by:
- Going to the branch and asking for the ‘Stay Connected’ form
- Filling up the form with relevant details
- Providing the bank a self-attested Aadhaar card and furnishing the original to the bank officers for verification
